About Anne Frank Anne Frank was born June 12, 1929. As she got older living in Germany got harder. During World War 2, Anne and her family had to go into hiding so that they wouldn't get arrested and sent away by the Nazis. Anne and her family stayed in hiding for 25 months until the Nazis found them hiding out. Anne was sent to Auschwitz concentration camp, and was there with her mother and sister, until the Nazis took Anne and her sister to the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp and her mother was left behind. Anne eventually died there due to disease in February 1945, at the age of 15.
